| Some troubled students miss from 20 to as
many as 40 days of school per year. Therefore, attendance will be
required to test for each day's Smart-Words. (For example:
those missing two (2) days of school can only test for the three days in
attendance). With attendance so required, you can expect a tremendous
reduction in absenteeism. You will also find that parents will add
additional pressures to attend school. In this manner, we are not
bribing students. We disagree with bribery, but rather, rewarding
students for academic achievements is positive reinforcement. |
