At the end of each week, the student's Smart-Word retention is tested, and the student is rewarded for learning these words.  For every word they get correct, they receive one dollar. 

We believe that because so many of our students are deeply in self-doubt and have such low self-esteem, it requires a strong incentive to motivate the students to apply themselves, to correct poor school attendance, and to improve their study habits.
