In this program,
students are not paid to attend school. Instead, they
intensively study to master very challenging vocabulary and must correctly
test to receive their achievement award. To test for their achievement
award, they must be in attendance.
With a rapidly expanding vocabulary, each
student's self-confidence is improved. "Success breeds success".
Many Native students reading 2-3-4 years below grade level have very low
self-esteem which almost always results in low academic interest.
By learning how to use their natural Indian
Learning Strengths and the resulting ease in reading, their personal motivation
for learning will greatly improve.
Throughout the entire process, the students
are challenged with vocabulary necessary for high school graduation,
university or technical vocational entrance exams.
